It has been a while since I've written any blogs (the last one was sometime early 2012). Lately, I've been obsessed with understanding what I have come to refer to as The Yahuwah Triangle. We've all heard of the Bermuda Triangle right? Well, like any triangle, it has three points. The three points in the Yahuwah Triangle are Egypt, Israel and Assyria (Babylon). I believe there is a great "mystery" to be solved in why these three locations are so important to Yahuwah (YHWH) and in this series of blogs I intend to, at the very least, attempt to investigate the clues. My thesis begins with the closing verses of Isaiah 19:

19 In that day shall there be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the Lord.

20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

21 And the Lord shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the Lord in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the Lord, and perform it.

22 And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

25 Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

Verse 25 is the basis for the three corners of the Yahuwah Triangle and in the course of this series of blogs, which will eventually turn into a book, I intend to break down the importance of each location. There are other Scriptures that may help us along the way...

19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

20 Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;

21 And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;

22 And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;

23 And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:

24 Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.

Here again, we see a pattern concerning Egypt, Israel and this time Chaldea (which is still essentially Babylon). The Yahuwah Triangle is literally all over the Bible and the pattern of what happens between these three is consistent, repeating often. We will go through this pattern in depth in the blogs that will follow. For now, I want to focus on the Great Pyramid, with the aim of this blog being to discover who made it.

“It seemed like a building let down from heaven, untouched by human hands.”

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World were:

• The Great Pyramid of Giza
• The Colossus of Rhodes
• The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
• The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
• The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
• The Temple of Artemis (Diana) at Ephesus
• The Light house of Alexandria

The Great Pyramid of Giza was the first and is now the only remaining representative of these Seven Wonders. It's been around for a long time. Some suggest that is was even built at some point around/during 2560–2540 BC, which according to my understanding, places its construction before the Flood of Noah (which was at about 2348 BC). It doesn't take much research at all to find a lot of very interesting facts concerning this marvelous ancient structure. For instance:

• The Great Pyramid is located at the center of the geographical land mass of the planet, meaning it is positioned exactly at the latitude and longitude lines that contain more land and less sea than any other place on Earth.
• It is 750 feet long at each base, situated along the four cardinal points: North, South, East and West. The ratio of its circumference to its original height is equal to the value of pi: 3.14. 
• The weight of the pyramid is said to give a reasonable estimate of the earth’s mass.
• At 481 feet tall, it was believed to have been the tallest man-made structure for nearly 4,000 years.
• Occupying more than 13 acres of land, it is made up of approximately 2.3 million stone blocks weighing from 2 to 30 tons (or more) each, held together by a mortar of known chemical composition, but which cannot currently be reproduced.
• It, along with the other pyramids on the Giza plateau, are aligned to the belt of Orion.
• With the greatest of accuracy, it is believed to have been oriented precisely to true north. Today, either due to pole and/or continental shift, it is still only off by 3 minutes of a degree.
• The Great Pyramid is the only pyramid built with 4 sides that are concave, thus effectively giving 8 different flat surfaces to the structure. The indent of the concave sides is very precise and equal to the curvature of the Earth's surface. This feature is only visible from the air during the Spring and Fall Equinox, when the sun hits it at just the right angles, during the hours of sunrise and sunset.
• The foundation corner stones are constructed as ball and sockets, which enable the structure to withstand earthquakes and other things such as heat expansion.
• The interior of the structure maintains the average temperature of the planet (roughly 70 degrees Fahrenheit).
• It is the only pyramid in Egypt containing both ascending and descending passageways. The others have only descending.
• The "coffer" in the "King's Chamber" is made from one solid block of granite. No one really knows exactly how it was cut and hollowed out to form the shape, but microscopic analysis reveals that it was made with a fixed point drill comprised of jewel bits, which would have required a drilling force of 2 tons! It also had to have been placed into the chamber during construction, because it is too big to fit into the ascending passageway. It never contained a body. The coffer was empty upon discovery. Furthermore, it had no lid and no writing on any of its sides, which would be highly unusual if it were a coffin. Thus, while there is much speculation, no one really knows its true purpose.
• Dead bodies have no need of air, yet in both the King and Queen chambers there are airshafts, which extend to the outer surface of the pyramid.
• It has a swivel door entrance/exit, weighing about 20 tons. It was so well balanced that it could be opened - from the inside - with minimal force, but when closed it had such a perfect a fit that it was barely detectable and there was no way to grab hold of it to open from the outside.
• The southern shaft in the King’s Chamber pointed to the star Al Nitak (Zeta Orionis) in the constellation Orion (which, for the Egyptians was associated with Osiris), circa 2450 BC. If this calculation is currect, and my timeline of the Flood is correct, that would place this alignment to about 100 years before Noah's Flood.
• The southern shaft in the Queen's Chamber pointed to the star Sirius, circa 2450 BCE Sirius was associated with the Egyptian goddess Isis.
• Although missing today, it is believed the capstone of the Great Pyramid may have been made (or coated) with pure gold. The ancient historian, Diodorus Siculus, writing in 60 BC, revealed that even in his day, when the Pyramid stood with its outer casing stones intact, the structure was “complete and without the least decay, and yet it lacked its apex stone”.
• It was originally covered with 144,000 highly polished, 15 ton encasing stones, which when reflecting the sunlight would have made it shimmer like a diamond, capable of being seen for many miles in every direction. Some have even gone so far as to suggest that if polished to a mirror-like finish, it could have been seen from the moon to look like a star sitting on Earth. In fact, the ancient Egyptians referred to the Great Pyramid as "Ikhet", meaning the "Glorious Light".

There are many, many more fascinating facts concerning the Great Pyramid and it measurements, which literally tell the story of our planet and solar system. There are far too many to list here, so for more information, I invite you to consider the sources listed in the Footnotes below. Needless to say, it is one of the most extraordinary structures on the planet. Many want to attribute it to this ancient Egyptian king or that one, but if it were indeed a memorial or tomb for an Earthly king, why all the precise measurements, angles and structures meant to illustrate the cosmos and our place in it?

A growing number of scholars and researchers have been coming to the conclusion that the New Jerusalem, written about by the Apostle John in the 21st chapter of the book of Revelation, may be a pyramid shape, rather than the traditionally accepted cube shape. Among such researchers, the late Patrick Heron's work was the first I had read along these lines. Later, I found that Doug Hamp believed this as well (and we've discussed this a few times on our show Quest4Truth. Although I had previously long held to the idea of the cube, both of these men were instrumental in convincing me otherwise. Consider the fact that the dimensions work out for either shape:

One of the measurements, which really caught my attention, concerns the ratio of the Great Pyramid as compared to the northern hemisphere of our planet (when the pyramid's height is multiplied by 43,200) and the resulting dimensions of the New Jerusalem as compared with the radius of the moon:

We see in these comparisons a perfect match! I do not think this is all just a coincidence. I like the way one artist rendered how the New Jerusalem may look when it is finally resting on the Earth:

There are some things that I differ with Patrick Heron on though concerning the Great Pyramid. He believed that it was a Nephilim construct designed by Lucifer. In Chapter 22 of his book, Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse, he writes:

I have become convinced that the pyramidal shape is a demonic exercise in counterfeit design, for I believe the pyramid is a paradigm of the City of God, which is at present in the heavens and which was seen and described by John in chapter 21 of the Apocalypse. [emphasis mine]

After quoting Revelation 21:15-17, Heron goes on to say...

Some Biblical scholars have suggested that this city has been created in the shape of a cube. I believe that it is in the shape of a pyramid and I believe also that the reason the Pyramid of Giza and other ancient pyramids were built was to copy the heavenly city of Yaweh, the Holy City which is right now in the heavens. This is what I mean by the term "Pyramid of the Apocalypse."

Mr. Heron then tells of Lucifer's rebellion and rightly points out the fact that he is the great counterfeiter of all that YHWH does. But he does so in the context of the Devil having already been "banished from the presence of Yaweh, and those who rebelled with him fell to Earth." [2] With all due respect to this researcher, this was the starting point of where I began to disagree with his premise. First of all, I do not believe Lucifer has been kicked out of Heaven yet. According to Job, he still has access to the Throne:

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

- Job 1:6,7 (KJV) [emphasis mine]

The whole story of Job revolves around what basically amounts to an accusatory challenge initiated by Lucifer in the presence of YHAH. The writer of the Apocalypse (book of Revelation) confirms this same motif when he writes concerning a future event:

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

- Revelation 12:7-10 (KJV) [emphasis mine]

Now to be fair, Heron also recognized this earlier, on page 160 of his book. Under the heading of "Cosmic Battle" he wrote:

Chapter 12 of Revelation descrives a battle in heaven between Satan and his evil angels on the one hand and Michael and his angels on the other. Apparently, Satan still has access to the heavenly realm, for we are told in Job 1:6-12 that Satan entered the presence of God. And in this chapter of Revelation it says the same:

For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God, day and night, has been hurled down. - Revelation 12:10

After a brief comment, followed by quoting from Revelation 12:7-9, he then continues on page 161 with...

It is during the second half of the seven years of Great Tribulation that all hell, literally, is going to break out. For the devil, having been expelled from Heaven, knows that he has but a short time left. It is interesting that in the above verse he is referred to as "he who leads the whole world astray." (Although Satan was expelled from Heaven long ago, apparently he still has some limited access to the heavenly realm. For we are told that he accuses the brethren there before God. Revelation 12:10)

Which is it? Was Lucifer kicked out long ago, only to start a counterfeit building project, or is he yet to be kicked out, while still accusing the brethren "day and night?" Patrick says "Satan was expelled from Heaven long ago", but I personally do not see this to be the case from Scripture. Now, of course I do see that Satan had access to the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), that he is "the prince and power of the air" (Ephesians 2:2) and that he goes about on this Earth as a "roaring lion seek whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8) but to me, all of that just means he is still free to come and go as he pleases. As I understand it, the expelling from Heaven event does not happen until Michael leaves his "military post" here on Earth as the protector of national Israel (I believe Michael is the "Restrainer" Paul refers to - it is not the Holy Spirit as many believers in the Pre-Trib. Rapture scenario would have us beleive). It is only after Michael "rises" that all hell breaks loose here on Earth. Where does Michael arise to? He goes to fight the future "war in Heaven" described by the Apostle John. All hell breaks loose because Satan and his angels have finally been kicked out of Heaven for good and are now causing total chaos here on Earth (knowing that their time is short). Essentially, I believe the above quoted Scriptures from Revelation 12 are picking up where the prophet Daniel left off (in the same chapter number) in his book:

"Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.

- Daniel 12:1 (NASB) [emphasis mine]

Thus, I do not believe Satan has yet been "banished from the presense of Yaweh." Again, that will happen at some point in the future when Daniel's prophecy is fulfilled with John's vision of the coming "war in Heaven." Now, going back to Patrick Heron's argument following the claim that Lucifer was banished, on page 209, he says:

Because it is the nature of Lucifer to imitate Yaweh, he decided to construct a magnificent edifice for himself on this Earth. This building was to be a monument to his own pride and ego. So by way of his minions, the Nephilim, and the awesome spiritual power at his disposal, he designed and constructed this massive pyramid at Giza, using all his celestial powers and astronomical knowledge to align it with the various stars and constellations. In Ezekiel 28, it is said of Satan:

Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. - Ezekiel 28:12

"Thou sealest up the sum" means "you are the finished pattern." Only an exalted celestial being or beings with such knowledge of the stars could have accomplished such things. Their original abode was among the celestial bodies in the City of God and they were present at the laying of the foundations of the Earth.

I personally do not believe Lucifer is the only one with such knowledge. I'll come back to this idea and reveal who I think the architect was, who led the building campaign and who was in the labor force shortly.

Now, to Patrick Heron's credit, he points out some very interesting observations from another researcher to back up his theory that the Great Pyramid is a representation of the New Jerusalem:

In Graham Hancock's book Heaven's Mirror (page 66), he quotes from the Edfu Texts, which repeatedly state that the monuments of Egypt were built by the gods to represent "buildings in the sky" and were erected according to plans "which fell from heaven." He goes on to say that when the gods built them, they were modelled upon a place "that was believed to have existed before the world was created." This is further evidence to support our theory that the pyramids are earthly representations of a celestial dwelling.

With this I can certainly agree! It is indeed an Earthly representation of a Heavenly construct. After looking at this quote, I turned toward the bookshelf in my home office, and to my surprise, I saw that I also had Graham Hancock's book. I must have seen it at a bookstore somewhere, looked at the hundreds of pictures in it and thought, "I need this book!" but I confess that I have never read it... until now. I spent several hours reading through much of it last night (9/6/12). In fact, I didn't have a high-lighter, so I loaded it full of sticky-note-tabs in order to be able to come back to the many references, which seem to support, what I have long believed concerning the location of the Great Pyramid. Before I dive into the specifics of that subject though, I need to address some of Patrick Heron's other arguments:

Consider also what the depiction of the pyramid has come to represent. It is chiefly associated with masonic symbology and has links as well with other secretive organizations which have their foundations in the occult. It was the influence of the masons which led to the pyramid with the "all-seeing-eye" being displayed on the back of the American one-dollar bill. This eye is referred to in some Eastern religions as the "third eye." It is said to represent a higher level of psychic consciousness which initiates must attain in order to arrive at a deeper understanding of the secrets of the occult.

I am in full agreement that the Great Pyramid has come to be a symbol for the occult and like Mr. Heron, I have also written about the iconography on our nation's Great Seal in my book Babylon Rising: And The First Shall Be Last.

To go back to something Mr. Heron said earlier, concerning Lucifer as a counterfeiter, it makes sense to me that Satan and his minions would steal ideas and constructs formerly dedicated to YHWH and try to use it for himself and/or for his perverted and twisted purposes. Along similar lines, we must also acknowledge the fact that Solomon's Temple is beloved of the Masons too. This was YHWH's house on Earth! The Devil often steals that which is of YHWH and tries to make it about himself, so I still wonder, what if the Great Pyramid was originally placed here to serve a Godly purpose, which has been usurped? Further, what if, as Patrick Heron suggests, the Great Pyramid was built by Nephilim... for this Godly purpose? As crazy as that may sound, consider who built the Temple of Solomon. In my 2011 blog, ConCERNed With Saturn, I wrote the following (now with further elaboration for the purpose of this blog)...

Immediately after King David died, his son Solomon became king of Israel. Right after that, the Scriptures tells us:

Solomon made an alliance with Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and married one of his daughters. He brought her to live in the City of David until he could finish building his palace and the Temple of the Lord and the wall around the city.

- 1 Kings 3:1 (NLT) [emphasis mine]

It was after doing this that God appeared to Solomon and granted his now famous request for wisdom. Clearly, looking back, he should have used that wisdom more wisely. Although he loved the Lord in the beginning of his reign, he turned away from the true path as he grew older.

Now King Solomon loved many foreign women. Besides Pharaoh’s daughter, he married women from Moab, Ammon, Edom, Sidon, and from among the Hittites. The Lord had clearly instructed the people of Israel, ‘You must not marry them, because they will turn your hearts to their gods.’ Yet Solomon insisted on loving them anyway. He had 700 wives of royal birth and 300 concubines. And in fact, they did turn his heart away from the Lord.

In Solomon’s old age, they turned his heart to worship other gods instead of being completely faithful to the Lord his God, as his father, David, had been. Solomon worshiped Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molech, the detestable god of the Ammonites. In this way, Solomon did what was evil in the Lord’s sight; he refused to follow the Lord completely, as his father, David, had done.

On the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, he even built a pagan shrine for Chemosh, the detestable god of Moab, and another for Molech, the detestable god of the Ammonites. Solomon built such shrines for all his foreign wives to use for burning incense and sacrificing to their gods.

The Lord was very angry with Solomon, for his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.

Backing up a bit, we can see how this happened. 1 Kings 7 is the chapter that tells us Solomon had hired Hiram of Tyre (an area known for Baal worship) to build the Temple of God (and as Solomon got up and running with this whole endeavor, we see in 1 Kings 10:14, that 666 talents of gold was brought in for him). These things always made me curious. Chapter 8 goes on to describe the completion of the Temple and Solomon's beautiful prayer of dedication. The next chapter reveals God's acceptance of all that Solomon had done - but it came with a warning:

The Lord said to him,  “I have heard your prayer and your petition. I have set this Temple apart to be holy—this place you have built where my name will be honored forever. I will always watch over it, for it is dear to my heart. As for you, if you will follow me with integrity and godliness, as David your father did, obeying all my commands, decrees, and regulations, then I will establish the throne of your dynasty over Israel forever. For I made this promise to your father, David: ‘One of your descendants will always sit on the throne of Israel.' But if you or your descendants abandon me and disobey the commands and decrees I have given you, and if you serve and worship other gods, then I will uproot Israel from this land that I have given them. I will reject this Temple that I have made holy to honor my name. I will make Israel an object of mockery and ridicule among the nations."

It is clear from the above passage that it was YHWH who made the Temple of Solomon holy. That appears to be in spite of how it was built and by whom. The same chapter goes on to say that it took twenty years to build the Temple and Solomon's royal palace. It was built by forced labor... but exactly who was forced to build these things?

There were still some people living in the land who were not Israelites, including Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. These were descendants of the nations whom the people of Israel had not completely destroyed. So Solomon conscripted them for his labor force, and they serve in the labor force to this day. 

- 1 Kings 9:20-21 (NLT) [emphasis mine]

Notice that it says, "These were descendants of the nations whom the people of Israel had not completely destroyed." Those were Nephilim nations! Remember what I wrote in the Building a Pure Nation blog? Those nations came from the giant descendents of Canaan! They were of the same groups of people the Israelites were repeatedly commanded to "utterly destroy" over and over again in the Torah!

But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:

- Deuteronomy 20:17 (KJV) [emphasis mine]

This clearly shows that Solomon had Nephilim and demons build the Temple of YHWH and his own personal palace through forced labor! If the very house of YHWH could be built by Nephilim, why could not the "mirror" of the New Jerusalem also be built by Nephilim? Is it not an insult to have to be forced into building something for your enemy? Does this not happen time and time again in history? The conquered are frequently forced into slavery in order to do things for the victors. So, I really have no issue with Patrick Heron's conclusion that the Great Pyramid may have have been built by the Nephilim. In fact, considering the size and weight of the stones, it actually makes a lot of sense that they did. My issue is in reference to whom it honors. Mr. Heron thought it honors Lucifer. I think it is essentially the Gospel in Stone and the monument described in Isaiah 19. Interestingly enough, Mr. Heron also believed it is the monument of Isaiah 19 as he states early on in this wonderful mini-documentary he had made concerning the Great Pyramid:

In some ways in this video Patrick seems to contradict what he wrote in his book. At about 24 minutes 33 seconds into the above video, he says:

So when Isaiah spoke about an altar and pillar, he was referring to the Great Pyramid of Giza. And it's this Great Pyramid of Giza, which is pointing forward into the future at this future pyramid City as described in great detail in chapter 21 of the book of Revelation. And this future New Jerusalem is pointing back at the Great Pyramid of Giza. There is a direct connection between the two.

The Great Pyramid is a sign and a witness of the coming New Jerusalem, the Heavenly abode of the living God, which will be the capital city of the New Heaven and Earth yet to come in the future. The riddle of the Pyramid has been solved. The only question remaining is, when will it all begin?

In the video, he seems to strongly suggest that this structure is in fact of YHWH, with significance for us as it relates to the New Jerusalem. But in his book, he seems to argue in favor of it being something Lucifer decided to construct for his own ego and benefit, and that it is not something for us to be concerned with in prophetic terms:

Some Christian scholars have suggested that the Great Pyramid was built by Job or by some other Patriarch and believe it is an altar designed by Yaweh himself which contains prophetic information relating to what the future holds for Christian believers. I cannot accept this to be the case, since all the information we require regarding our redemption and our future is provided in the pages between Genesis and Revelation.

Contrary to what he said in the above video, he goes on to explain why he cannot accept it as a "an altar designed by Yaweh"...

Furthermore, a "star shaft" leading from the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid is associated with Draco. We have already concluded that Draco is the Dragon, who is the Devil and Satan, the Ancient Serpent (Revelation 12:9). Also, two of the other "star shafts" have been identified with Osiris (Orion) and Isis (Sirius), two of the main deities of ancient Egypt. All these clues would indicate that the architect of the monument was scribbling his identity all over the design in the same way that people like to see their own names appearing in lights. And the name which echoes from this building is that of Draco. It is his name and those of his associates which are writ large in the blueprint of the pyramid and in the light of the stars it points to.

Let me just pause here and say, I mean no disrespect toward the late Patrick Heron. Though I never really got to know him beyond some casual interactions on Facebook, he was someone I think I would have genuinely considered a real friend had I gotten to know him better. I really did like him. His work greatly inspired much of my own and I have learned a lot from him over the years. Along similar lines, there are a lot of researchers out there doing the best they can to interpret what they see in the course of their studies. But we must acknowledge that the Apostle Paul said we all "see through a glass darkly" (1 Corinthians 13:12). What this means is none of us are currently able to see the whole picture. Patrick saw certain details through his particular angle of looking through that glass. I see certain details through the angle at which I am observing things. Others are doing the same. None of us have it all right and none of us have it all wrong. Therefore, my hope in writing this is not to discredit the work of another fine researcher, but rather to point out the details that I am seeing and hopefully connecting some of the dots plotted by others who have seen different details than I. The only reason I am using Patrick Heron's work here is because he had formed the strongest counter-argument of any that I have seen thus far concerning my thesis... and because I had already read and thoroughly high-lighted and annotated his book years ago, thus having it readily available to comment on now. :)

Now, I'd like to address the issue of the Great Pyramid's (alleged) connections to Osiris, Isis and Draco. When you look into the Osiris myths, you find no shortage of quite varied opinions as to when he lived, ruled and reigned. In terms of dating, some place him before the Flood of Noah and others after. Numerous scholars over the centuries have connected Osiris with the constellation of Orion. A growing number of scholars have also connected him with the Biblical Nimrod. I subscribe to the latter view myself and wrote about it in my book, Babylon Rising: And The First Shall Be Last.

The Encyclopedia of Ancient Egypt has this to say concerning Osiris:

He was one of the most popular and enduring deities of ancient Egypt, a symbol of the eternal aspirations of the people and a god credited with civilizing the inhabitants of the Nile Valley. His cult dates to the Old Kingdom (2575–2134 BCE), when he assumed the roles of other local deities, and continued into the Greco-Roman Period (after 332 BCE). Osiris's earliest manifestation was Asar, a man-headed god of agriculture. Andjeti was another fertility god who, united withKhentiamentiu of Abydos in agricultural celebrations, was absorbed into the Osirian cult in time. Possible djed pillar symbols date to the First Dynasty (2920 BCE) at Halwan, and the cult is mentioned in the Fifth Dynasty (2465–2323 BCE).

It is generally recognized by Biblical scholars that the Flood of Noah took place around 2348 BC. If indeed, Osiris is Nimrod, then the later date mentioned above, toward the end of the Old Kingdom (2134 BCE), fits fairly close to what I have established in my Post-Flood Timeline chart, which depicts Nimrod showing up around 2092 BC:

If in fact, Osiris dates further back than 2350 BC, then he is obviously a character who lived prior to the Flood. Interestingly enough Margaret Bunson, like so many others recognize him as a dying and resurrecting god. Consider...

The death of Osiris and his resurrection played an important part in the cult that became symbolic of the rulers of Egypt in time. The dead pharaohs of Egypt were considered embodiments of Osiris, having been equated with Horus, Osiris's son, while on the throne. Other aspects of Osiris's cult included his dismemberment by Set and his reign in an ideal time before the start of the nation, 3000 BCE, referred to as "the Time of the Gods."

The earliest representation of Osiris dates to the Fifth Dynasty, when he was depicted as a man wearing a divine wig. In subsequent eras he kept his mortal appearance, but always in a mummified form, which was a symbol of his funerary role. In the Middle Kingdom (2040–1640BCE) Osiris was depicted wearing the white helmet of Upper Egypt, perhaps to designate the god's origins. In time he was normally portrayed wearing the atef crown, the elaborate plumed headdress. In his hands he carried the crook and flail.

As stated earlier, the Great Pyramid is believed to have been built sometime around 2560–2540 BC. If in fact, Osiris is of pre-Flood origin, then the assumed dates for the building of the Great Pyramid fall in line with his alleged reign sometime between 2575 and 2134 BC, and that would seem to fall in line with Patrick Heron's idea that the "star shafts" were aligned to honor him. However, it is not clear when those stars became associated with this Egyptian god-man. It would seem that it did not happen until much later - as in after the Flood. So, I really don't think we can build a strong case for the Great Pyramid to have been aligned to stars representing Osiris, when those stars would not actually represent him until quite some time later.

Assuming Osiris does predate the Flood, could it be that Nimrod just usurped the identity of this ancient god-man when he began to become a "gibborim" (giant) - possibly claiming to be the "reborn" (or reincarnated) king of the world? Although this is an intriguing thought to be sure, it is not within the scope of this blog for me to unpack that idea. Suffice it to say, there is a lot of information out there tying Nimrod to Osiris and Osiris to Orion. So much that I believe there can be no doubt that Orion, the Mighty Hunter of the sky is associated with Nimrod, the "mighty hunter" of Scripture. In fact, in my research, I even found this interesting bit of trivia on Constellation-Guide.com:

In Hungarian mythology, Orion is identified with Nimrod, a famous hunter and father of Hunor and Magor, the two twins also known as Hun and Hungarian.

If it is true that the connection between Nimrod with Osiris and thus Osiris with Orion can be validated, then it obliterates the idea that the "star shafts" of the Great Pyramid were designed to honor this false god. Yet, even if my speculation also proves invalid, we need to examine what YHWH meant to convey by the various stars and constellations that He placed in the Heavens for "signs and seasons" because that's the real issue we should be concerned with here. If indeed the Graet Pyramid is of Him and if it is pointing to the stars He made, what is the real message being conveyed?

There are two books that I highly recommend concerning the Biblical meanings of the stars and constellations: The Witness of the Stars by E.W. Bullinger and The Gospel in the Stars by Joseph A. Seiss (I will deal with this subject in greater detail in Part 2 of this series).

Regarding the "witness/Gospel in the stars" many believe that the first century historian, Josephus wrote about this, directly relating it to the Great Pyramid...

Now Adam, who was the first man, and made out of the earth, (for our discourse must now be about him,) after Abel was slain, and Cain fled away, on account of his murder, was solicitous for posterity, and had a vehement desire of children, he being two hundred and thirty years old; after which time he lived other seven hundred, and then died. He had indeed many other children,  but Seth in particular. As for the rest, it would be tedious to name them; I will therefore only endeavor to give an account of those that proceeded from Seth. Now this Seth, when he was brought up, and came to those years in which he could discern what was good, became a virtuous man; and as he was himself of an excellent character, so did he leave children behind him who imitated his virtues. All these proved to be of good dispositions. They also inhabited the same country without dissensions, and in a happy condition, without any misfortunes falling upon them, till they died. They also were the inventors of that peculiar sort of wisdom which is concerned with the heavenly bodies, and their order. And that their inventions might not be lost before they were sufficiently known, upon Adam's prediction that the world was to be destroyed at one time by the force of fire, and at another time by the violence and quantity of water, they made two pillars, the one of brick, the other of stone: they inscribed their discoveries on them both, that in case the pillar of brick should be destroyed by the flood, the pillar of stone might remain, and exhibit those discoveries to mankind; and also inform them that there was another pillar of brick erected by them. Now this remains in the land of Siriad (Egypt) to this day.

Is the "pillar of stone" spoken of by Josephus here the Great Pyramid? Many believe it is. In fact, it has been said that the Great Pyramid was originally even referred to as “The Pillar of Enoch.” It's a good fit and it certainly appears to be a monument, which did indeed survive the Flood. Let's look again at what Isaiah said:

At that time, there will be an altar to the LORD of the Heavenly Armies in the heart of the land of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border. - Isaiah 19:19 (ISV) [emphasis mine]

In Hebrew the word translated as "monument" here in the ISV and "pillar" in the KJV is a word, which refers to an object erected to commemorate something (and I will deal with this in greater detail in Part 3 of this series). For now, consider what is written in the book of 1 Enoch:

1. And he said unto me:
'Observe, Enoch, these heavenly tablets,
And read what is written thereon,
And mark every individual fact.'

2 And I observed the heavenly tablets, and read everything which was written (thereon) and understood everything, and read the book of all the deeds of mankind, and of all the children of flesh that shall be upon the earth to the remotest generations. 3. And forthwith I blessed the great Lord the King of glory for ever, in that He has made all the works of the world,

And I extolled the Lord because of His patience,
And blessed Him because of the children of men.

4. And after that I said:
'Blessed is the man who dies in righteousness and goodness,
Concerning whom there is no book of unrighteousness written,
And against whom no day of judgement shall be found.'

5. And those seven holy ones brought me and placed me on the earth before the door of my house, and said to me: 'Declare everything to thy son Methuselah, and show to all thy children that no flesh is righteous in the sight of the Lord, for He is their Creator. 6. One year we will leave thee with thy son, till thou givest thy (last) commands, that thou mayest teach thy children and record (it) for them, and testify to all thy children; and in the second year they shall take thee from their midst.

Here we see that Enoch understands things taught to him in Heaven. He was brought back to Earth in order to teach those things to his son Methuselah. After one full year of doing so, I believe that was when Enoch was Raptured (Genesis 5:23,24). In the meantime, we see that he did in fact teach what he saw to mankind...

1. And now, my son Methuselah, all these things I am recounting to thee and writing down for thee, and I have revealed to thee everything, and given thee books concerning all these: so preserve, my son Methuselah, the books from thy father's hand, and (see) that thou deliver them to the generations of the world.

2. I have given Wisdom to thee and to thy children,
[And thy children that shall be to thee],
That they may give it to their children for generations,
This wisdom (namely) that passeth their thought.

3. And those who understand it shall not sleep,
But shall listen with the ear that they may learn this wisdom,
And it shall please those that eat thereof better than good food.

4. Blessed are all the righteous, blessed are all those who walk in the way of righteousness and sin not as the sinners, in the reckoning of all their days in which the sun traverses the heaven, entering into and departing from the portals for thirty days with the heads of thousands of the order of the stars, together with the four which are intercalated which divide the four portions of the year, which lead them and enter with them four days. 5. Owing to them men shall be at fault and not reckon them in the whole reckoning of the year: yea, men shall be at fault, and not recognize them accurately. 6. For they belong to the reckoning of the year and are truly recorded (thereon) for ever, one in the first portal and one in the third, and one in the fourth and one in the sixth, and the year is completed in three hundred and sixty-four days.

7. And the account thereof is accurate and the recorded reckoning thereof exact; for the luminaries, and months and festivals, and years and days, has Uriel shown and revealed to me, to whom the Lord of the whole creation of the world hath subjected the host of heaven. 8. And he has power over night and day in the heaven to cause the light to give light to men--sun, moon, and stars, and all the powers of the heaven which revolve in their circular chariots. 9. And these are the orders of the stars, which set in their places, and in their seasons and festivals and months.

From there, the rest of that chapter is full of names and details concerning the stars, which he learned from Uriel, the angel who taught him while he was in the heavenlies. Enoch then goes on to prophecy and dream dreams. Then, in the 93rd chapter, we read:

1. And after that Enoch both gave and began to recount from the books. And Enoch said:

Patrick Heron believed that only Lucifer had such knowledge. Yet, if the book of Enoch is to be believed, we see that Enoch was the first to decipher the story which was hidden by YHWH in the stars and then he was to write it all down and tell it to his son, requiring that these things be preserved for future generations. We know even from the canonized Biblical text that Enoch had a close relationship with YHWH. So, it is not at all unreasonable to believe that Enoch could have learned all he needed to know to be able to design something like the Great Pyramid.

I know a mystery and have read the heavenly tablets, and have seen the holy books… - 1 Enoch 103:1

So the question remains, who built the it? Since Enoch was Raptured a year after he taught men all that he learned from the "heavenly tablets and holy books," I do not believe he did it. If the Josephus account is accurate, we see that the house of Seth was involved in the building of the two pillars. Therefore, I believe Enoch was given the building instructions and "blue-print" plans for it, but it is my opinion that it was likely his son Methuselah who led (possibly with the help of Seth and others) the building campaign, probably forcing the Nephilim to do the actual construction. If the construction dates of 2560–2540 BC are accurate, then this project took place during a very interesting time, within the early "days of Noah" leading up to another building project, namely that of the ark, which would commence about 200 years later.

In the end Supplement to his book, The Gospel In The Stars, author Joseph A. Seiss wrote...

There is nothing, then, improbable in the report of Josephus when he says that the descendants of Seth were skillful astronomers, and seems to ascribe to them the invention of the cycle of which Cassini has developed the excellence. The Jews, Assyrians, and Arabians have abundance of traditions concerning the antediluvian astronomical knowledge, especially of Adam, Seth, Enoch and Ham. It is asserted in the book of Enoch, as Origen tells us, that the constellations in the time of that patriarch were already named and divided. The Arabians say that they have named Enoch Edris, on account of his learning.

That the invention of the Zodiac ought to be attributed to the antediluvians may appear to some rash and idle conjecture; but I shall not renounce this conjecture merely because it may startle those who never thought of it before. Tradition has told several of the Oriental nations that the antediluvians were eminently skilled in astronomy; and tradition has generally some foundation in truth.
